Advisor Check is a service of NerdWallet Wealth Partners, LLC ("NWP"), an SEC-registered investment adviser. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when using the Advisor Check service at advisor-check.pages.dev.
To generate your report, you may upload documents including your federal tax return (Form 1040) and brokerage statements. We also collect:
We do not collect your Social Security number, bank account numbers, or full account credentials. We ask that you redact sensitive identifiers from documents before uploading where possible.
Your documents are processed by NerdAI, our analysis system built on Anthropic's Claude API. Documents and extracted data are used solely to generate your advisor check report. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
Your email is used to deliver your report and, if applicable, a follow-up note from our reviewing advisor. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
Report data is retained for up to 12 months to allow you to revisit your report via the link we send. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@advisorcheck.nerdwalletwealthpartners.com.
Documents and report data are stored in Cloudflare R2 with encryption at rest. Access is restricted to NerdWallet Wealth Partners personnel involved in report review. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
NerdWallet Wealth Partners, LLC is an affiliate of NerdWallet, Inc. NerdWallet's editorial team operates independently of NerdWallet Wealth Partners' advisory services. Your data submitted through Advisor Check is not shared with NerdWallet, Inc.'s editorial or advertising operations.
